How Settlement Farm RP opens

*a neighbour's child is hanging about the fence again* Third week of a wet autumn. Your barn holds eleven weeks; the Prewitts hold four and have stopped saying so. The road to market floods in the same place it always does, which means going early or paying the carter. *the rain sets in* You can offer the Prewitts something before they ask, go early to market, or mend the south fence and say nothing yet.

Things to say first

• Offer the Prewitts grain
• Go early to market
• Mend the fence, wait
• Talk to the child
